The most reliable way to manage Assets Plus database files is to work with the data in the Assets Plus software. Always access Assets Plus data files through the software itself instead of attempting to open them up directly. It is possible to access the data directly using some database programs, but doing so can create problems and corrupt data.
Important: Do NOT use Microsoft Access 2003 or later to open, modify, repair, or compact Assets Plus data files. Doing so will render the data files unusable by Assets Plus. If you inadvertently open an Assets Plus database file in Access 2003 or later, do not convert it to the new format or compact that database. Converting or compacting the data will render the data files unusable by Assets Plus.
